Love the article, Thomas.

In an article I wrote arguing why we should keep close those who disagree with us, I also talked a little about the importance of entertaining contrarian points of views in the form of integrative thinking to spur novel thinking and original ideas.

Because if we could bring together antithetical and sometimes poles apart points of views and synthesize them, it has real potential to reward you with solutions that are either new, divergent, or superlative to what’s being done as usual or held as true and immutable.

This would be a really good concept to emulate in our daily lives, and to integrate into our decision making process.
